The dominant Dragons North completed a perfect 24-0 season to claim their 3rd straight Federal League crown. The Dragons North, the only champion the Federal League has ever known, went 20-0 in the regular season, then completed sweeps over the Dragons South and Sutterhome Classics.
In a rematch of the 2004 Championship Series, the defending champion Dragons North once again squared off against the underdog Crushers. And once again, the Dragons North swept the series in dominating fashion as the team successfully defended their Federal League title.
The Dragons North defeated the Crushers to win the inaugural 2004 48+ Federal League title. The championship capped a great year for the Dragons North team as they compiled a 12-7 record and rolled through the postseason.
