2004 ALL-STAR GAME RESULTS REBL 48+ vs. BAMSBL 48+ @ Sonoma State, 4:00pm -- REBL 6, BAMSBL 4 Highlights - Mark Fess of the Dragons North squad launched a walk-off two-run homer over the left field fence in the bottom of the ninth inning to propel the REBL 48+ All Stars to a 6-4 victory over the BAMSBL 48+ All Stars at Sonoma State University on Sunday June 27. Rich Hinkle and Ed Coulteaux (Crushers), Dick Giberti (Dragons South), and Dino Zanolini (Grey Wolves) held the BAMSBL team to 2 earned runs. In addition to MVP Mark Fess, who went 3 for 4, leading hitters were Dan Lepez (Dragons South), 2 for 2 with an RBI; Allan Green (Dragons North), 2 for 3 with an RBI double (the only extra-base hit in the game until Fess' home run); Jim Hurt (Dragons North), 2 for 3; and Tim Walker (Dragons), 2 for 4.
