LOOKING TO PLAY HARDBALL?

The Redwood Empire Baseball League is now playing its 23rd season in Sonoma County. Even though the 2012 season is underway, its not too late to join a team and play baseball this summer. Players that are interested in joining our league must fill out a New Player Registration Form in order to be placed on our Player Waitlist. At the end of each month, teams that are interested in adding players from the waiting list will contact individual players.

The REBL offers quality and competitive baseball for all skill levels in 5 seperate age-defined divisions (Two 18+/25+, 35+, 45+, 55+). Our season consists of an 18-22 game schedule, beginning in mid-April and ending in early October, with games played exclusively on Sundays at local fields in Sonoma, Marin, and Napa counties.

Who We Are

The Redwood Empire Baseball League (REBL), based in Sonoma County, CA, is the premier adult baseball league in Northern California. It is affiliated with the largest amateur baseball league in the country, the Men's Senior Baseball League (MSBL). The REBL has been offering quality and competitive baseball for adults aged 25 and over for all skill levels since 1990.

After months of work and preparation, MSBL/MABL National has launched its newly designed website. It contains current, relevant topics as well as archived HARDBALL stories, information on all regional and national tournaments, and the ability for local leagues and teams to create their own online photo albums amongst many other features.

REBL Bat Policy

The REBL will limit all eligible aluminum bats for the 2012 season to those with a BBCOR certification. If your bat does not have a BBCOR certification, it is not allowed for use. The BBCOR certification is stamped right on the barrel of the bat for easy recognition. Additionally, all wood bats are also allowed for league play.

The 25+ NL and 25+ AL allows the use of these BBCOR aluminum bats. However, the 35+ CL, the 45+ FL, and the 55+ ML are wood bat only divisions, allowing only wood and composite wood bats.
